ObamaCare Upheld

So, now we know why the 16,000 IRS agents were put into this healthcare bill. It was a two fold purpose. The Obomunists knew that this would be contested in court as for it's constitutionality, so he has some pretty nifty writers. They used this "penalty" as a fall back. Hey, if the people doth protest too much, we can argue it is a tax "penalty" under congress' ability to tax if they go after us on the necessary and proper or the commerce clause.

Boo hiss to Judge John Roberts. Ann Coulter was right in 2005 when she called a spade a spade in that he had no record, therefore he could not be trusted to bring conservative values and philosophy to the bench. He is in fact the trojan horse. He is what we hoped he would not be and everything the left hoped he would become. This is why Presidents are so important. While it may be true that they enforce nothing, however the do in that they appoint FOR LIFE those that do.

Get Out Of Trouble Card

I wish I had a golden ticket like Obama and his cronies. Obama just waived an executive privilege over criminal Holder and you know what that means..... yep. They both knew what was going on. This is a criminal organization in the White House and this just proves it. If I were a family member of the dead federal agent, I would be filing a civil suit against the federal government naming Holder and Obama as lead claimants. I'm not sure you can do that, but if you can, that is what should be done. Who do these clowns think they are? I suppose Barry believes himself above the law. What is the American Public going to do about it? Every citizen should be livid! LIVID! What a group of criminals.

Graduation Speech Without the Uplift

An English teacher at Wellesley High School gave a fully loaded commencement speech with a real life edge to it. He says everybody is not special. If everybody were special, they would not be. It would be common to be special which crosses out the meaning of special basically. So, do you think you are special? Of course we all think we are special. We all are in our own unique ways. While I can appreciate this straight talk and from a teacher no less, I think it could have been timed differently. A commencement speech it meant to encourage them to go on and reach for the stars. By telling them they aren't all that great, so don't bother, they won't. I really do understand what he was trying to do, as these kids probably don't get this speech from anyone. I would have liked him to add in there (with some words changed of course) that it is up to them to make themselves special and stand out. At a time when entitlement is at it's all time high, I don't know if cold turkey tough love is what these kids need-- especially after graduating high school. I understand these kids are privileged, if not monetarily, then in the fact that they had a great education from a school that is one of the best. I don't profess to have the answer, but I know what isn't the answer. However, I'd like to know if given a survey at the end of the term, how well liked was this teacher? What were his students grades? That would tell the rest of the story. I'm not sure he'll be back next year. If he is, I'd be shocked.

What Do You Stand For?

Upon reflecting on choices I have made and plan on making, I have to ask myself this: "what do you stand for"? I'm sure we all face times of wondering what your purpose in life is, but standing for something is somewhat different. I don't think anyone finds out their one true purpose in life. I don't think there is just one, and besides, God is the only one that knows that truly. I feel that some find solace in believing what they are doing at the moment feels right for the moment, therefore it is their purpose, while others search constantly questioning if there is something just slightly better across the horizon. The sort of grass is always greener bunch. I suppose they are never quite satisfied. But this still doesn't answer what one stands for. I suppose it could, but many things people do stand for many things. The Republican Party for instance stands for many things. One could feel it was their purpose in life to aid the Republican Party, but alas this would not be what they stood for. So, I continue to ponder. I will continue to ask. I stand for many things I feel, but none are my signature. I stand for animal rights, fairness in the workplace, and liberty. Nothing singular. So, I ask you as I ask myself: What do you stand for?
